Farrah Drabu_Editor/Director

   

Co Founder of DNR, trained in Broadcast Post Production and then the London Film School -

Farrah works on FCP or AVID, London based she has the facilities to edit on set as well as remotely.

 

Farrah and DNR designed and produced all the visual content for Riz MC's interactive live show MICroscope which toured Fabric, Glastonbury and Latitude last year. She also cut Rizwan Ahmed's debut short film entitled MICroscope.

 

Farrah and DNR have been working with Liberty since 2007 directing various virals and cinema adverts.

 

She is currently Post Supervisor on ill Manors - Ben Drew's debut feature film. She edited his first short film "Michelle" back in 2007.

Marcus Dryden_Director & VFX 

 

Co-founder of DNR, Marcus' speciality apart from Directing is VFX. He has extensive experience as VFX Supervisor on set for several broadcast and commercial clients. He is dedicated to furthering his knowledge in the growing field of new digital technologies. His showreel is here..

Jess Carfield_Director/Editor 

 

Jess is a director/editor living in Los Angeles and working both in the US and UK. His fierce hustle landed him in the middle of the music video world, after returning from London, and has quickly progressed to commercials and narrative work. Jess, a true fan of collaboration is always ecstatic to work with the DNR team on any of their wildly unique and savvy projects. Check out some of his latest work here.  

 

 

Tom Swindell_DP/Director

 

Tom is a London based freelance director and camera man - with all the sound kit too. He works for UK broadcasters, specialising in documentary and factual television, he presents intimate observations of individuals and communities. Check out his work here.

Teppei Nogaki_Filmmaker/Installation Artist 

 

Teppei is a filmmaker based in London. With a background as a musician and composer, he studied filmmaking at the London Film School and scenography at the University of Arts in London.

 

While he produces, writes and directs his own films, he makes installations and videos for performance platforms such as plays and music events. He specializes in stage design using multiple video projections and real-time video manipulation techniques.

 

He is an active member of Opera Mutica, a collective of musicians and filmmakers producing films and multimedia performances across Europe. Their website is here.   

 

 

 

Sagal Aden_Producer

 

With several years experience working in the broadcast and commercial field. Sagal brings her wealth of knowledge, passion and enthusiasm to the collective. A hardworking, dedicated, not to mention witty lady she gives 200% 24/7.

Winston Henry_Composer/Motion Graphics/VFX 

 

Winston has worked on commercials, short films, virals and theatre productions for a diverse client base.

 

Mr Henry is a meticulous creative with a keen eye for the small details as well as the bigger picture. He is always a calming influence on the team. His key skills are editing, motion graphics/vfx and sound design. In addition to facilitating various filmmaking  projects with young people.

Charles C. Meyer_Director of Photography

 

After working on camera for the Swiss Television Industry, Charles moved to London in 2004 to master the many aspects of cinematography.

 

In the mean time Charles has shot dozens of music promos which have aired in the UK, America, and Asia. At the moment he is specializing in beauty photography. His commercial clients include Playstation, Cartoon Network, BBC Worldwide, and HP.

Dulani Wilson_Animator/Illustrator/Director 

 

Having taken a one year hiatus before going to university, Dulani got his first exposure to the film world that combined his talent for art and his passion for film and the graphic novel. He graduated from UCA, Maidstone witha BA Hons in Animation in 2008.

 

Since then he has been producing concept art, storyboards for music videos, feature films, shorts, commercials and design projects. He is a super talented animator, with experience of working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines. You can view some of his work here.

Ibrahim Ahmed_Creative

 

Ibrahim comes from a background in Visual Communication. Though keen and more often involved in Compositing/VFX work, his instinctive approach is heavily grounded in graphicd design.

 

On the flip side, stylistic visual presentation is just as important to him and he spends time exploring styles of filming, music and photography. In a sentence, "If it don't work, bin it, if it does, style it". Check out his work here.

Kerry Deacon_Film Educator/Filmmaker

 

Kerry's background in Theatre and Community Arts lead to a natural progression to working with film and video as a medium to explore social issues, personal identity and creativity. 

 

Kerry besides making her own short creative documentary films, specialises in film education. She has worked with numerous film/media and youth organisations, facilitating various filmmaking and editing projects with young people and adults.

Kris Hoffman_Director/Animator/Designer 

 

Originally from Austria, Kris decided to settle in Lodnon in 2004 after 4 years of travelling, and working across Europe. She has recently finished an MA in CommunicationDesign at the Royal College of Art and works as a freelance animator and designer in the UK and Austria. 

 

 

Clients have included BBC, Ogilvy&Mather, Muse, Splice TV, Trickywomen, Animation Festival, OneDotZero, Brighton Festival, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Saddlers Welss and more. 

 

 

Kris was recently awarded a V&A Illustration Award, shortlisted for the Oberon Book Illustration Award, the Toyota IQ Design Challenge and the Adobe Creative Achievements Award.

 

 

Her 2009 animated short "Breakfast" has been screened at various festivals across Europe, most notably at Dresden Short film festival, Clermont Ferrand, Tampere Filmfest and Rushes Soho Shorts.
